We flew to from John Wayne Airport to Houston, the first time any of us have been to the state of Texas. Checked into the JW Marriott Hotel Downtown Houston. Braved the heat and went on the Houston city tour the next day.
We visited the NASA Space Center in the afternoon:
Ended our trip with a good old fashioned Texas BBQ with Mum’s classmate and her husband Mike.
