First Class from Borneo

After a satisfying 4 days in Aix we headed to Switzerland to tick Jungfraujoch off our list of things to do.

Marseille to Zurich

From Zurich Airport we endured a long taxi ride to the Hotel Lucerne which will be our base for 2 nights.

Our upgraded suite was cramped with interesting ceiling art:

Pacifying the wife with some strawberries while reassuring her this hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy chain and not some sleazy establishment:

It was an early start the next day to Jungfraujoch with brief stops at Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. Weather was gloomy so we were just looking forward to getting to Jungfraujoch.

Mission accomplished:

The following day we spent some time around Lucerne before making our way back to Zurich.
