2 Days in Hong Kong

We had a few matters to attend to in Hong Kong and decided on a 3-night stay. Outbound flight was an Asia Miles redemption for KCH-SIN-HKG.

Kuching to Singapore
Malaysia Airlines MH643 Business Class (B737)
10:40AM – 12:05PM

Luggage was checked through to Hong Kong:

Behold, lunch service for an international flight in MH J:

We landed in Changi and went shopping at Terminal 3 for a while. Then we took the airside transfer bus to Terminal 4 where Cathay Pacific operates. A quick stop at the CX Lounge before we boarded our flight to Hong Kong.

Singapore to Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific CX2710 Business Class (A350)

4:05PM – 8:20PM

We had a new A350 with the latest hard product and IFE for this flight.

Meals and service were forgettable though:

Landed on time and a quick Uber ride later we arrived at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong:

Upgraded to a suite with causeway view:

We requested a dehumidifier to alleviate the staleness of the air.

The first morning we attended an expo at the Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Centre. Our Uber was a Tesla Y (we had 4 of these our entire trip):

The expo was a big disappointment and we left early for some much needed retail therapy:

followed by afternoon tea at the Peninsula Hotel:

Some walking along Nathan Road to work off those tasty treats before a super delicious HK roast goose dinner:

The next day we enjoyed dim sum at the Michelin starred Man Ho Chinese Restaurant at JW Marriott:

We strolled the night market and had some forgettable street food for our last night before retiring early as we had an early flight home the next day.

A satisfying beef nasi lemak before catching our Scoot flight back to Kuching.
