I booked a 2-bedroom villa at Marriott’s Timber Lodge nearly a year in advance. It was difficult to secure because of the Christmas and New Year surge. We were told 70% of the rooms are allocated for Marriott Vacation Club owners so that explains why.

The location within Heavenly Village was perfect with the gondola up the mountain and tons of F&B outlets within walking distance.
We had fun skiing, snowboarding, watching magic shows and going on a cruise to Emerald Lake.
