Japan Airlines First Class LAX-HND with PS LAX

There is no better way to deal with LAX than with PS LAX. A bit of background:

Malaysian passports do not contain the separate fields of First Name, Last Name. There is only a single “NAME” field. To complicate things more, I have a Christian name. It goes before my surname. This is followed by my ethnic Chinese middle names.

Now all my frequent flyer programmes were enrolled in the conventional First Name, Last Name format. To comply with US airport standards, I have to put FNU (First Name Unknown) as my First Name followed by my entire name as Last Name.

The above has caused me countless headaches as the name on my ticket does not correspond in the same sequence with that on my passport.

I do not have to deal with this anymore at LAX when I use PS LAX’s services. Nor do I need to endure the lengthy arrivals queue when arriving to Los Angeles.

When the time comes you will be brought through your own private TSA and Customs clearance. Then chauffeured to the plane.

Naturally I was the first to board

After a poor experience with the Japanese option last trip I chose the Western meal this time:

Love these

An excellent flight, especially with PS LAX at the start.
