First Class from Borneo

Flying CX F again to attend my second son’s Commencement Ceremony as they call it in the United States.

CX has a dedicated lounge at Changi’s Terminal 4 (where CX operates from).

The SIN-HKG sector is in Business Class. CX’s product is more than acceptable for such a short flight.

The Wing F lounge at HKG is closed for renovation. Checked out the temporary First Class Lite lounge at The Deck located at Gate 6:

Left in a hurry and made my way to a proper F lounge, The Pier:

The restaurant was serving a tasting menu by Mott32:

Food was just ok, nothing memorable:

What a calming sense of relief when you realize PS LAX will be on hand to take care of your arrival into LAX:

I think this will be my last time flying CX’s F product in its current form. It is just no longer competitive. Redemption opportunities are also few and far between as CX swaps the 777-300 with their A350s equipped with Aria Suites in J. Looking forward to trying their new Halo F Suites in a few years.

Lastly, PS LAX is just pure luxury, plain and simple. I will never handle LAX without it again.
