It was finally time for us to head to Machu Picchu on the Vistadome train scheduled for 340pm.


We passed through the Sacred Valley with some snacks made with local ingredients, as well as traditional Andean music and cultural dances.



Our guide Eddy Huanca met us upon arrival and walked with us to check in at the Inkaterra Machupicchu Pueblo Hotel.



Dinner at the hotel was below average



We woke up nice and early the next morning. Met up with Eddy and joined the queue for the bus to Machu Picchu:

After a 30 minute bus ride and another queue we were finally here:






We spent around 2 hours exploring the site before going back to Aguas Calientes for our lunch:
