First Class from Borneo

Long layover in Kuala Lumpur so made a last minute 6PM dinner reservation at the Michelin starred Beta KL:

Service by the staff was friendly, pacing was good as I told them I had a 820PM pick-up by my Emirates chauffeur. Everything ended on time.

Emirates chauffeur picked me up in a Mercedes E-Class (though his driving left a lot to be desired):

The aero train is closed at night so Emirates F passengers has to take a bus to the satellite terminal. Malaysia Boleh.

The 130AM departure was a torture for me. It wasn’t until 2AM that the bed could be done up for me to finally sleep.

Slept reasonably well but declined a shower since I had ample time to do so in the lounge during my transit.

Met our 8th Prime Minister who was en route to London for treatment:

I gave way to Puan Sri and TSMY to deplane first:

I bade Tan Sri farewell as I made my way to the First Class Lounge.
